Westfort Hockey Association announces Jr Director Program
ATTN: Individuals between 15 and 24 years old: Are you a hockey player that has been interested in finding ways to continue your involvement in the game but are not sure where to begin to find these opportunities? The Westfort Hockey Association would like to hear from you. 


In an effort to grow the Volunteer base, the Westfort Hockey Association has created 4 Junior Director Positions. To qualify for the Junior director positions, individuals must be between the ages of 15 and 24 as of December of the current season
Successful candidates will be provided opportunities to assist executive members with their duties and learn the off ice operations of running a minor hockey association.
The goal of this program is recruitment and retention of future leaders for the Westfort Hockey Association, the entities within which it operates: Lakehead Minor Hockey League, Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association, and Hockey Northwestern Ontario

As a Charity Gaming Centre, Superior Shores Gaming Association supports 80+ charities throughout Thunder Bay. including the Westfort Hockey Association. Every time you play a game, have a beverage in our licensed lounge, or order a snack or meal from our restaurant menu, you're helping these charitable organizations do great work in our community. A portion also goes to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), a provincial agency, which supports priorities such as healthcare and sports across Ontario including Thunder Bay.
