Thank you from Westfort Hockey Association
Westfort Hockey Association expresses its sincerest gratitude to our executive members who have decided to move on at the conclusion of their terms.

Four members of our talented executive have decided its time to pursue other interests. Westfort Hockey Association is extremely grateful for the contributions of these individuals over the past season and in some cases, many seasons.

Thank you to :

Ashley Zurevinski who served as a director for one season with the Under 7 and Under 9 divisions. Thank your for volunteering late last summer to being our contact with our youngest divisions and working with our coaches and managers to keep them in the information loop.

Clint Weiss, our long time the Equipment manager who was always two steps ahead with ensuring our teams were well equipped for the season. Clint was part of the new look for the Rangers in 2023-24. Thank you for helping our Rangers look sharp and always having the association equipment needs at the forefront. Exciting times are ahead for the Weiss family. Thank you for making Westfort Hockey a part of the journey

Dayna Pupeza was the U-15 Director and invaluable member of the Westfort team when it came to establishing policies and procedures, assisting in liaising with Coaches/Managers and parents when needed and advocating many causes for the players and the association across the levels of hockey governance.

Gord Kinisky served as the registrar for Westfort in 2023-24 and probably served every role at one time or another over the last 15-20 years. Gord returned to coaching among our Under 7 and Under 9 coaches showing dedication that is rarely seen in the hockey world. With the merged association, the Registration process will become a lot simpler. We thank Gord for stepping up last year to ensure a smooth start from registraton, through teams formation, to the  first games and tournaments. Your leadership and guidance throughout the most chaotic period of a hockey calendar is very much appreciated and your presence within the executive will be missed.

Looking forward to soon introducing the Westfort Hockey Association 2024-2025 Directors and Executive officers.
